About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage business activities to ensure compliance with applicable product environmental/sustainability legislation / regulations (RoHS, REACH, IEC 62474, TSCA, Conflict Minerals etc.)
Prepare supplier survey campaign and engage suppliers to obtain compliance data
Check supplier data for completeness, accuracy and integrity
Communicate with clients on inquiries or requests on compliance
Find and summarize relevant information to support market research on regulatory changes
Provide input on Celestica policy baseline services on regulatory compliance
Initiate continuous improvements on process and system

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge on product environmental/sustainability legislation / regulations (RoHS, REACH, IEC 62474, TSCA, Conflict Minerals etc.)
Knowledge on global trade law /regulations
Data management and processing skills
Good organization skills
Proficient in spoken and written English
Proficiency in Japanese (minimum N2) is an added advantage
