About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide direct supervision and training to employees
- Review inspection method, sampling plan in Quality Instruction
- Monitor and review performance, attendance and disciplinary actions
- Review defects found by Quality Inspector, prepare report, notify and drive for solution
- Stop line and escalate quality incidents to Manager as necessary
- Monitor and review shift/hours and overtime schedule of employees
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 to 6 years in a similar role or industry
- Strong Knowledge of product quality requirements
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Strong Knowledge of ISO Standards
- Strong Knowledge of sampling plan procedure
- Strong Knowledge of basic quality tools
- Knowledge and understanding of business unit decisions impacting customer satisfaction
- Ability to effectively lead, manage, train and motivate employees
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with various functions to meet quality metrics
