About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Validate the network functionality, performance, and security posture of AI data center infrastructure
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex network topologies
- Oversee and conduct in-depth testing of routing protocols to validate network convergence and stability
- Architect and implement robust security test methodologies
- Perform advanced vulnerability assessments and security audits on network infrastructure
- Develop and integrate automated security compliance checks into continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts primarily using Python
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network and security incidents
- Mentor and guide junior test engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with traffic generation
- Direct, hands-on experience with SONiC OS in a production or large-scale test environment
- Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV)
- Proven experience with network security tools and methodologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, access control, encryption)
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Linux system administration and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
