About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform comprehensive inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods, adhering to established procedures and quality plans.
  • Develop and maintain essential quality documentation, including detailed inspection reports, checklists, test plans, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Document all inspection results, test outcomes, and identified non-conformities accurately within designated systems (e.g., SAP, internal databases) and daily performance records.
  • Generate insightful reports on key quality metrics, defect trends, and the status of corrective/preventive actions for review by the QA team and supervisors.
  • Proactively identify, track, and report any product or process defects and deviations.
  • Facilitate collaboration with production, engineering, and other teams to conduct thorough root cause analyses and ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.
  • Ensure strict control and segregation of non-conforming products until resolutions are achieved.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization and defect prevention, and by supporting the execution of quality improvement projects.
  • Uphold excellent housekeeping standards within the QA department and confirm the exclusive use of calibrated instruments for inspections.
  • Promptly communicate any quality or compliance concerns to relevant stakeholders, including production, engineering, the QA team, and supervisors.
  • Lead investigations into complex quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformance reports, driving the root cause analysis process.
  • Initiate, drive, and monitor the effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends in product quality or defects, recommending and implementing corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members and foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, logistics) to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Assist with technical inquiries from customers, providing detailed information regarding product quality or standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics) or a related Science/Technology field.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or quality control environment.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for quality assurance and a strong eagerness to learn new processes, technologies, and industry standards.
  • Skilled in using various inspection and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and capable of interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, capable of identifying even minor flaws or inconsistencies.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to articulate findings and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
  • Solid knowledge of quality control concepts, methodologies, and testing techniques.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis (e.g., 8D method).
  • Experience in conducting internal audits and managing CAPA processes.
  • Familiarity with and strict adherence to Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and relevant industry regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision, with the capacity to lead tasks.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
