About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- dealing with the three major phases of Quality Management: Quality Planning/Prevention, Corrective Action, and Continual Improvement
- lead process/procedure definition, maintaining a continuous flow of high-quality products
- overseeing product & material quality from NPI to mass production
- developing quality control plan for respective area (material/process/product)
- monitoring and reporting quality KPI for internal (factory) and external (customer)
- driving continuous improvement to benefit customer, CLS, and supplier
- developing and maintaining internal quality system, procedures, and standards
- leading process/product/system/supplier audit and improvement actions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 to 6 years in a similar role or industry
- strong knowledge of quality tools, ISO and IPC standards and processes
- knowledge of software for generating reports capturing and presenting data
- strong knowledge of product and manufacturing processes
- understanding of the business unit and impact on customer satisfaction, product quality, on-time delivery, profitability
- knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, PMP, SPC, 8D methodology
- knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Kaizen.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
