About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the development of the logistics vision for one or more customers or departments
Support continuous improvement activities in the logistics process
Manage resources to effectively help execute strategy deployment plans
Ensure materials are available to meet manufacturing build requirements
Address and resolve material shortages
Maintain communication with suppliers and investigate payment issues
Assist in resolution of discrepancies and manage non-conforming materials
Review supplier performance and make recommendations for changes

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 to 7 years of experience in supply chain management
Knowledge and understanding of global supply chain management
Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP and/or Oracle
Strong application of MS Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Suite equivalent
Excellent knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supplier management
Strong negotiation and problem resolution skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
