Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain responsibility for a set of projects developed by Celestica’s Global Design Services organization
Provides direction for source selection and ensures proper process implementation
Leads the Commodity Management teams to ensure negotiations meet business requirements and growth plans
Leads the supply chain management process for customers from materials pricing and BOM analysis to delivery execution and flexibility performance
Quotes and negotiates critical high dollar or strategic commodities or provides the direction to team of commodity managers
Supports quarterly business reviews with customers, and with senior management at key/strategic suppliers

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, Engineering or related field
Expert knowledge of the marketplace conditions for a broad range of strategic commodities
Excellent understanding of global business environment and Customers business, organization, products and processes
Ability to lead complex negotiations effectively
Expert knowledge of office systems and analytical tools
