Perform hands-on troubleshooting of electronic assemblies, including legacy hardware, down to the component level, focusing on analog circuitry
Read and interpret electrical schematics and equipment documentation to efficiently identify, diagnose, and resolve faults
Partner with technicians and colleagues to drive troubleshooting efficiency and support operational throughput
Use and train others in operating test equipment like oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and soldering tools
Communicate clearly and effectively with technicians, supervisors, engineering management, and stakeholders to resolve production and test issues
Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation, work instructions, and reports associated with troubleshooting and repair
Adapt to unfamiliar or legacy hardware environments; acquire product-specific knowledge on the job
Support cross-functional reviews addressing manufacturing, reliability, and testability from an electronics perspective
Maintain current knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices relevant to aerospace, high-reliability, and ITAR-governed manufacturing
Uphold all actions and documentation to ensure compliance with ITAR and related export control requirements
Work conducted in standard office and manufacturing environments with occasional travel; manual dexterity and standing/sitting required
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair analog electronic circuits at the component level, evidenced by practical hands-on experience
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical documentation
Skilled in the use of relevant electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, soldering tools)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience working with circuit card assemblies (CCAs), printed circuit boards (PCBs), or similar devices
Relevant experience may come from electrical engineering, electronics technology, or equivalent practical background; degree not strictly required if capability is proven
Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, medical devices, or other high-reliability electronics manufacturing sectors is welcome
Must be a U.S. person (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to ITAR requirements
Preferred: hands-on experience troubleshooting legacy or aging hardware platforms
Preferred: proficiency in soldering and component-level rework
Preferred: experience mentoring or training others in electronics repair and troubleshooting
Preferred: familiarity with configuration control and documentation change management
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to company-specific tools, production platforms, and regulatory procedures
