About the role
- Develops new mechanical systems/modules and maintains existing designs
- Research mechanical concepts and create system solutions using 3D modeling and simulation software
- Complete calculations and test, validate, and qualify their systems
- Provide support throughout the manufacturing process of the mechanical system designed
- Work with cross functional teams to ensure robust and high quality product development.
- Enhance designs with feedback from reviews in manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, and industrial design.
Requirements
- 4 to 6 years in a similar role or industry
- Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to manage/lead complex, multiple line engineering projects
- Demonstrate solid understanding of the technical, financial and people aspects of the project
- Ability to recognize project barriers and develop mitigation plans
- Demonstrate "People & Team Leadership Behaviors"
- Fully knowledgeable about internal and external financial reporting, accounting and tax requirements relevant to your area of expertise.
