About the role
- Develops new mechanical systems/modules and maintains existing designs
- Research mechanical concepts and create system solutions using 3D modeling and simulation software
- Support throughout the manufacturing process of the mechanical system designed
- Enhance designs with feedback from reviews in manufacturing, tests, and supply chain
- Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions
- Manage relationships with key vendors/partners
- Finalize designs and send prints to production department
Requirements
- 11 to 14 years of experience
- Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Global SME with comprehensive knowledge and industry recognition
- Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects
- Provide technical leadership to a global team of engineers
- Review and interpret customer specifications
- Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions
- Prepare calculations on proposed solution before completing technical drawings
- Submit drawings to management, engineering teams and customers for review
