About the role
- Act as the primary interface between the customer and the company for managing programs
- Responsible for the direction and management of a program
- Participate in all aspects of program executions
- Work with cross-functional teams
- Manage day-to-day activities of customer accounts
- Coordinate and host regular program tracking meetings with the customer
- Develop plans to meet commitments and schedules for customers
- Manage customer account profitability
- Provide forecasting and planning and monitoring of efficiency
- Participate heavily in the pricing/bid preparation process
- Communicate frequently with customers to help ensure satisfaction
- Analyze performance relative to targets
- Interface with senior managers on significant issues
Requirements
- 8+ years relevant experience
- University degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
- In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing process, schedules and scheduling requirements, and SCM
- In-depth knowledge of the business issues associated with manufacturing PCBs
- In-depth knowledge of product pricing, contracts and contract negotiations
- Very strong customer contact, negotiation and problem resolution skills
- Excellent presentation, database management and computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple, detailed projects to a successful end while working under tight time deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high production within tight time deadlines
- Good fundamentals in Electrical/Electronics systems
- Hands-on development experience in electronics products or systems
- Working experience in multi-national corporations
- Working experience in R&D or product development organizations
