About the role
- Collect, analyze, develop, document and communicate business requirements
- Provide support and user training on selected systems
- Participate in IT projects
- Monitor and upkeep operating environments
- Respond to incidents & problems
- Deployment of new technologies as well as install, configure, maintain and perform testing of PC operating systems
- Troubleshoot problems as reported by users
- Support Web access and telephony services
Requirements
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in similar roles
- Strong customer service orientation
- Knowledge of the Windows OS (server and client)
- Linux and other mainstream OS knowledge will be helpful
- Strong analytical, technical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle concepts and practices
- Good coding skills in specified programming languages
