About the role
- Develop, debug, test, deploy and support code to be deployed in systems/products/equipment for various applications
- Write, debug, maintain, and test software across hierarchy levels (Firmware to Application)
- Follow agreed development processes and product life cycle deliverables (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
- Work in cross functional teams with designers, customers, manufacturing engineering and project leadership
- Enhance designs with feedback from manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design and simulations
- Design and develop technical solutions independently for limited technical fields
- Attend and interact in technical customer meetings
- Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites and provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements
- Design and develop processing platform using configuration management technologies
- Collaborate cross-functionally including peer-reviews and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
Requirements
- Typical Experience: 2 to 6 years
- Bachelor degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Write, debug, maintain, and test software in various common languages and for software at various levels (from Firmware to Application)
- Software creation follows an agreed to development process (such as Agile, Scrum)
- Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites
- Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies
- Project Management - ability to manage a single line engineering project with a limited number of participants
- Leadership - demonstrate Individual Leadership Behaviors
- Financial Acumen / Business Planning - understanding of budgeting and cost accounting practices relevant to engineering
