About the role
- Performs the quarterly, annual corporate income tax, minimum turnover tax calculations
- Completes and submits the declarations regarding direct taxes
- Responsible for declaring and preparing various situations regarding local taxes
- Prepares the specific fiscal reports requested by the corporate tax team
- Provides supporting documents and necessary explanations in case of internal/external audits
- Validates and advises on the fiscal implications for certain economic operations, difficult tax issues
- Provides transfer-pricing assistance
- Responsible for obtaining various tax certificates and attestations
- Responsible for preparing the mandatory accounting registers
- Prepares and interprets monthly and quarterly inventory financial statements for internal reporting purposes
- Prepares inventory financial information with detailed analysis of variances to forecast and plan
Requirements
- Degree in accounting, finance, or similar
- Proven experience as a tax accountant, tax analyst, or similar
- Strong knowledge of accounting/tax laws and procedures
- Expert knowledge of office systems and analytical tools
- Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers
