About the role
- Provides direct and indirect supervision to all subordinate managers and employees at a site performing highly specialized roles in several major functions or departments
- Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives
- Maintains responsibility for a large site SCM activities or multi-customer activities but may have involvement in other site process and application implementations
- Implements structure to meet future customer and process requirements
- Provides direction on major projects, such as warehouse software upgrade
Requirements
- Twelve plus years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Business or Engineering)
- Extensive knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials and processes
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of supply chain management, distribution methods, and global transportation services and inventory management
- Ability to understand the complete supply chain and resolve issues in any area
- Strong knowledge in all areas of import / export, regulatory and logistics management
