About the role
- Ensures compliance and provides import / export administration and control within government rules and regulations
- Provides user support for export system including problem resolution, customs queries, user issues and recommends/supports systems changes
- Participates in the evaluation, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of specific SCM business processes including cost savings and cycle time reduction
- Provides ongoing support in resolving process/execution issues with both internal and external customers
- Responds to requests for support/service and develop processes to meet customer demands and ensure satisfaction
- Provides necessary data for bid activity on import/ export and transportation related costs
- Monitors activities of the team against defined objectives, reports on achievements and proposes ways in which performance can be improved
- Maintains applicable system tables in support of related activity
Requirements
- Two to four years relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Good knowledge of electronics manufacturing environment, material and processes
- Strong understanding and interpretation of traffic and customs rules and regulation
- Knowledge of basic computer applications such as WORD, Excel, PowerPoint and multiple business applications
- Ability to identify and resolve complex process/system problems using financial, analytical, and/or statistical models
- Good understanding of internal and external customer requirements
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines
- Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
