About the role
- Reporting to the Vice President, Medical Affairs
- Responsible for the development and execution of a cohesive scientific communication strategy
- Build and lead strategic scientific communication plans
- Establish a strategic data generation strategy
- Lead strategic planning and the generation of Medical Information materials
- Drive the production of publications, often under tight timelines
- Partner closely with field leadership
- Establish and implement standard practices, processes and procedures for the work
- Develop and maintain scientific and medical expertise through continuous learning
Requirements
- PharmD, PhD or other advanced degree
- Five plus (5+) years of oncology experience
- Minimum ten (10) years in a pharma/biotech company
- seven plus (7+) years in Medical Affairs
- Prior experience in scientific communication strategy
- Strong understanding of GPP and other applicable industry guidelines
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communications skills
- Demonstrated strategic, scientific and business acumen
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities at the same time
- Ability to manage through ambiguity
- Experience/expertise in interpretation and communication of scientific data.
