About the role

  • Manage mid-to-long term project details and day-to-day site operations for energy transformation projects
  • Manage the on-site project team in obtaining, evaluating, and coordinating all information needed to construct the energy efficiency project in accordance with the contract documents
  • Supervise and provide oversight for Associate Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractor personnel
  • Oversee implementation of a comprehensive set of Energy Conservation Measures
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with CEG and site-specific safety standards, codes, regulations, and assist with the implementation of the site safety program
  • Manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Prepare and manage project schedules, bid processes and subcontract negotiations
  • Manage project in accordance with the budget and review and approve expenditures and subcontractor draw requests
  • Identify and mitigate risks (technical, construction, price, schedule, environmental, warranties, performance guarantees)
  • Oversee on-site safety and quality control programs and implement commissioning and measurement based monitoring and verification plans and protocols
  • Assist with project and business development responsibilities during development and implementation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, specifically in engineering or construction management or equivalent of 15+years experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction project management or project engineering in building construction and energy systems i.e. HVAC, controls, site work, central utilities, electrical, and M&P
  • Experience and competency with Project Management Software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Willingness to travel 80% of the time or relocate
  • OSHA-30 certification preferred
