About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with HR management, HR subject matter experts, customers, and Enterprise Information Systems to analyze work processes, improve processes, and demonstrate technology value
- Build project plans, maintain alignment with schedules, set technology priorities, and conduct long-term planning
- Serve as technical point of contact for assigned functional areas
- Ensure data integrity, test system changes, write reports, and analyze data flows for process improvement
- Support HRMS upgrades, quarterly releases, patches, testing, and technical projects
- Manage HR and business service delivery and technology projects, including change management, task and risk management, issue resolution, quality management, communications, and stakeholder updates
- Lead work streams or systems activities for projects, feature releases, and issue resolution
- Define requirements, consult on, and implement HRMS application changes
- Evaluate HRMS functionality and recommend enhancements aligned with business needs
- Perform system maintenance and coordinate application upgrades or fixes
- Maintain HRMS system tables and document process flows and results
- Participate in systems implementations and provide mentoring and guidance on HRMS expertise
- Manage HRMS security and perform compliance audits
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve cases using ServiceNow and internal team mailboxes
- Oversee HRMS user security administration and shared-drive controls
- Develop user guides, support mechanisms, procedures, and workshops
- Manage day-to-day HRIS team operations and provide customer service and cross-team collaboration
- Develop standard reports, run audits, and analyze data to maintain system integrity
- Lead user procedure and documentation development, train clients and users, and support change management
- Monitor HRMS trends and continuously develop HR and HRIS knowledge through training, reading, CBTs, user groups, and conferences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Six (6) plus years of experience in human resource, payroll, HR and Payroll Systems Management, and time management business process
- Experience in relational databases, technology trends, and tools supporting HR/Payroll business process management
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency with HRMS Human Resource/Payroll Management System components and application modules, including client/server and web components
- Proficiency in report writing using Crystal, Business Objects, BI, OBIEE, Web Intelligence, SQL, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Access, VB, and general Microsoft applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field
- UKG experience highly preferred
- Master’s degree preferred
- PMP, HRIP, or SHRM-CP preferred
