About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and provide ongoing support for Epic Bridges interfaces and the Interface Integration Engine
Perform data analysis, Bridges interface build, requirements documentation, mapping-table maintenance, reporting, problem management, and root cause analysis
Interact with business owners for discovery and testing
Develop documentation
Liaise between technical staff, application build teams, and testing teams under the direction of the EIS Team Lead
Participate in multidisciplinary requirements definition and documentation of interface needs
Assist with deployment of Epic application software upgrades and patches related to Epic Bridges
Integrate Epic Bridges into the current computing environment
Develop policies, procedures, and documentation for EIS staff and helpdesk
Develop, test, maintain, and support Bridges interfaces as part of an enterprise interface implementation team
Ensure all change-management steps are followed and maintained

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience with computer technology in a multi-platform environment
3+ years of experience with Epic Bridges
Experience developing interfaces on Intersystem Ensemble or other commercial integration platforms
Practical experience capturing data requirements and documenting those requirements
Solid grasp of enterprise interface engines, basic Unix, FTP processes, TCP/IP, Cache, HL7, ANSI X12, and Epic Chronicles
Expertise with Epic Bridges interface documentation, design, building, testing, implementation, and support
High School Diploma/GED required
Epic Bridges certification required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
Must reside in an approved remote state: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, or Texas
