About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and provide ongoing support for Epic Bridges interfaces and the Interface Integration Engine
  • Perform data analysis, Bridges interface build, requirements documentation, mapping-table maintenance, reporting, problem management, and root cause analysis
  • Interact with business owners for discovery and testing
  • Develop documentation
  • Liaise between technical staff, application build teams, and testing teams under the direction of the EIS Team Lead
  • Participate in multidisciplinary requirements definition and documentation of interface needs
  • Assist with deployment of Epic application software upgrades and patches related to Epic Bridges
  • Integrate Epic Bridges into the current computing environment
  • Develop policies, procedures, and documentation for EIS staff and helpdesk
  • Develop, test, maintain, and support Bridges interfaces as part of an enterprise interface implementation team
  • Ensure all change-management steps are followed and maintained

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience with computer technology in a multi-platform environment
  • 3+ years of experience with Epic Bridges
  • Experience developing interfaces on Intersystem Ensemble or other commercial integration platforms
  • Practical experience capturing data requirements and documenting those requirements
  • Solid grasp of enterprise interface engines, basic Unix, FTP processes, TCP/IP, Cache, HL7, ANSI X12, and Epic Chronicles
  • Expertise with Epic Bridges interface documentation, design, building, testing, implementation, and support
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Epic Bridges certification required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Must reside in an approved remote state: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, or Texas
