Key responsibilities & impact

Provides oversight and strategic support to hospital and medical network service lines, creating and sustaining effective demand, prioritization, and resource management.
Provides leadership, mentorship, and direction for day-to-day IT operations and administrative activities.
Provides subject matter expertise in applications/systems, and ensures cross-functional integration of projects and assignments.
Leads the long-term strategic planning, design, development, and implementation of service line technology objectives.
Assesses, documents, and budgets potential projects; performs project resource planning; conducts continuous monitoring and reports on portfolio health.
Responsible for all aspects of a service line’s technology portfolio including conceptualization, scoping, prioritization, and activation of projects within the relevant service line.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Seven (7) plus years of experience in portfolio, program, and/or project management with a successful project management track record in full life cycle information technology implementation projects, with a proven record of execution to time and budget.
Two (2) plus years of Epic or other supporting software certified in relevant module preferred.
One (1) plus years of experience in healthcare IT portfolio or program management with the ability to manage large-scale IT systems implementations preferred.
High School Diploma/GED.
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Management, Business or related field, preferred.
PMP, PMI-ACP, and/or CSM Certifications preferred.
