About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As a member of the B2B Marketing team, the Associate Director, B2B Marketing is responsible for setting the overall marketing strategy for Cedars-Sinai.
  • Develops and executes marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics aimed at growing Cedars-Sinai revenue via various payers of healthcare.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to enable consistent application of the Cedars-Sinai brand.
  • Establish metrics and goals/success criteria and milestones that align with organizational goals and will measure the effectiveness of marketing plans.
  • Initiate and direct the annual payer marketing planning by reviewing demographic, socioeconomic, competitive, and other internal/external forces affecting continued business success.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive marketing experience at a large, complex healthcare organization or payer.
  • A minimum of 2 years of managerial experience overseeing direct reports within a department and/or service line.
  • 2 years of experience in healthcare marketing, preferably at an academic medical center is preferred.
  • Promotion to the payer audience
  • Solid project management, analytic and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and use Excel spreadsheets for data tracking and analysis.
  • Ability to identify problems and resourcefulness to resolve them independently using your own initiative.
  • Ability to multitask within short timelines, organize and prioritize work and complete assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
