About the role
- Facilitates and/or drives the stages of the innovation design process
- Helps to establish and evolve the product from concept to proof of concept for user testing
- Leads the UX research, design, and testing for new experiences and improvements of existing experiences
- Advocates for strategic design solutions
- Communicates the user experience at various stages of the design process
- Delivers work that’s not only user-friendly, aesthetically engaging, but which also produces results
- Assesses and optimizes the performance of new and existing features
- Mentors more junior designers/researchers
- Confidently presents design concepts
- Conducts independent research and competitive analysis
Requirements
- Three (3) plus years of proven experience in UI/UX design
- concept development
- building and shipping products (web, mobile apps, responsive designs)
- building and maintaining design systems
- gained from working in an innovation agency, startup, tech company or large organization
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in design, psychology, or research field is preferred
