About the role

  • Assist in operation of a department and perform additional job-related responsibilities as assigned
  • Proficient with Google Suite applications including Gmail, Docs and Sheets
  • Communicate effectively with Board of Directors (BOD), homeowners and co-workers
  • Attend and facilitate Board of Directors meetings, annual meetings and special meetings (usually in the evening)
  • Manage multiple HOA client relationships simultaneously
  • Prepare meeting material packets and create budgets for communities
  • Obtain and negotiate vendor contracts (landscaping, maintenance, etc.)
  • Review, interpret, and ensure compliance with HOA documentation
  • Review, interpret and answer questions on financial documents
  • Assist clients with HOA concerns (maintenance, accounting, violations) and document communications
  • Respond to homeowner questions related to statements, violations, maintenance
  • Research and obtain information to resolve homeowners' needs
  • Filing of paperwork and other assigned tasks
  • Must be physically present in the office as the needs of the business dictates

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2-5 years related experience (minimum 24 months) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CMCA, AMS or PCAM designation preferred
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to retain and recall a large amount of detailed information
  • Ability to move quickly and efficiently through assigned workloads
  • Time management skills to maintain multiple client relationships
  • Professional/business-appropriate conduct
  • Ability to comprehend information clearly over the telephone
  • Proficient with general office equipment (telephone, fax, copy machine)
  • Proper grammar
  • Prior HOA experience a plus
  • General understanding of HOA documents helpful
  • Bilingual helpful
  • Must be located in or near Fredericksburg, VA
