About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish project scope and detailed requirements, facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify and manage issues, risks, and changes
  • Communicate with team members and follow up to ensure tasks are completed according to plan
  • Develop project plans covering schedule, resources, and budget
  • Collaborate with resource managers, lead team members, Finance, and executives
  • Monitor and track progress against plans
  • Report project status through formal and informal communication methods
  • Communicate project status, issues, risks, goals, and objectives to team members, management, and stakeholders
  • Engage in continuous improvement of project management processes and standards
  • Monitor project hours and costs against estimates and budget; report on the project budget
  • Establish and structure project files according to the Control Document Procedure
  • Use project management tools and follow the Document Control Procedure
  • Attend kickoff meetings for project-specific jobs
  • Research non-standard components or items and provide information to the Engineering Manager
  • Conduct review meetings with management, purchasing, and production departments
  • Provide engineering assistance regarding drawings and system operation
  • Implement, review, comment on, and redline customer documents
  • Manage multiple concurrent, cross-functional, complex projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • MBA desired
  • 5+ years of demonstrated project management and project implementation experience
  • Experience with distributed project teams
  • Ability to prioritize and organize while managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and listening skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-effort, dynamic work environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • PMP, CAPM, or related certifications desired
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed to meet project deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
  • Compliance with company attendance standards
  • Ability to perform keying/typing, sitting, standing, and walking
  • Constant mental and/or visual attention in an office environment
