About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepares clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings from design templates, or from rough or detailed sketches or notes.
Organizes and maintains project-related information that includes 3D CAD models, CAD drawings, material lists and related documentation.
Works closely with Sales, Project Engineering and Project Management to ensure all designs are per project specifications and schedule.
Prepares drawings required for Customer approval, material procurement and for fabrication.
Reviews drawings of peers to assure accuracy and best design practices.
Assists the Engineering team in issuing project documents to the customer, fabricators, etc.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associates degree in Computer Aided Design or related degree; preferred.
Ability to calculate lengths, distances, angles, areas, volumes is required.
3D modeling experience is required.
Strong computer skills desired.
