Key responsibilities & impact

Learn and understand the fan manufacturing process and how each department operates
Become familiar with all types and families of Verantis fans and the engineering principles behind their designs
Assist the Fan Engineer in cataloging existing drawings and standards, determining what specs are accurate to our products as built and creating a plan to create new standards books for each production department
Update 3D parts library as required for accuracy or to assist in drawing creation
Update and recreate detailed engineering drawings of fan components and assemblies as required using SolidWorks
Compile the updated drawings into new standards books organized by component type and product family
Publish the new standards physically as well as digitally in the company share drives for use by all employees

What you’ll need

Actively pursuing a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or in mechanical trade
1-2 years experience with 3D modelling, CAD or drafting software (SolidWorks preferred) in professional or educational setting
Highly motivated individual
Eager to learn the operations of Verantis Manufacturing
Ability to read engineering drawings and production plans
Comfortable learning engineering concepts
Good problem solving and decision-making ability
Good verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft office suite
Very strong organizational skills
