About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • We are looking for a Senior Internal Search and SEO Analyst to work strategically and operationally on evolving the product discovery experience in our e-commerce.
  • This person will be responsible for the management, analysis, and continuous optimization of Internal Search, focusing on result relevance, customer experience, and business performance. They will work with tools such as Algolia, VTEX Intelligent Search, Elastic, and Dynamic Yield, and will contribute to the SEO effort through analysis of search intent and behavior.
  • We seek an analytical, strategic, and hands-on profile capable of turning data and consumer behavior into concrete actions to improve the e-commerce experience and results.
  • Responsibilities include owning the strategy, operation, and continuous evolution of Internal Search, monitoring key metrics and optimization opportunities;
  • Operate and optimize search and discovery solutions by configuring terms, synonyms, rules, redirects, filters, boosts, and relevance adjustments;
  • Develop ranking, sorting, and product curation strategies that connect relevance, consumer behavior, commercial strategy, campaigns, and seasonality;
  • Analyze search trends and behavior, including top search terms, searches with no results, low conversion, refinements, abandonment, and assortment opportunities;
  • Build and monitor reports and dashboards with key search journey metrics such as usage, effectiveness, CTR, conversion, and influenced revenue;
  • Formulate hypotheses and oversee A/B tests and experiments related to relevance, sorting, showcases, personalization, and new features;
  • Turn data and analyses into actionable insights and recommendations, proposing initiatives to improve search experience and performance;
  • Support the SEO team by contributing analyses of search intent, trends, categorization, naming conventions, and opportunities for content and organic discovery;
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, BI, SEO, Commercial, Merchandising, CRM, UX, Content, and Marketplace teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (completed);
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of e-commerce metrics and the conversion funnel;
  • Advanced Excel and experience with Power BI, Looker Studio, or other data visualization tools;
  • Knowledge of Web Analytics, especially GA4;
  • Basic SEO knowledge, including search intent, keywords, categorization, and information architecture;
  • Autonomous, proactive profile with the ability to turn analyses into business actions and recommendations.
  • **Differentials**
  • Experience with Internal Search, e-commerce, digital product, CRO, SEO, BI, or related areas;
  • Experience with Algolia, VTEX Intelligent Search, Elastic, Dynamic Yield, or other search, personalization, and recommendation platforms;
  • Experience with CRO, UX, A/B testing, and experimentation;
  • Knowledge of BigQuery, SQL, Python, or exploratory data analysis;
  • Experience in fashion retail or large-scale e-commerce.
