About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute institutional communication strategies and brand positioning;
  • Manage relationships with the press and institutional influencers through PR, identifying positioning opportunities and mitigating reputational risks;
  • Develop and implement communication plans for corporate announcements, results, strategic projects and institutional topics;
  • Build key messages, positions and narratives aligned with the company’s strategy;
  • Identify storylines and turn initiatives, events and projects into relevant content for C&A’s different audiences;
  • Organize institutional events, interviews, press conferences, press visits and special communication actions;
  • Support crisis management and sensitive issues with a preventive, risk-oriented approach;
  • Work collaboratively with leadership and internal teams such as Technology, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, ESG, People & Culture, as well as suppliers and partner agencies;
  • Monitor reputation indicators, media presence and trends relevant to the business;
  • Produce executive content, briefings, Q&As, press releases, opinion pieces, speeches and institutional materials;
  • Produce executive reports and track image and digital presence metrics.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related fields;
  • Proven experience in Corporate Communications, Institutional Communications, Public Relations or Press Office;
  • Experience building and managing the reputation of large-scale brands;
  • Experience liaising directly with journalists, media outlets and executive leadership;
  • Track record in crisis management and reputational issues;
  • Excellent writing skills, storytelling and development of institutional narratives;
  • Consultative mindset, strategic vision and strong influencing skills;
  • Ability to work in dynamic, collaborative and results-oriented environments.
