About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain applications using Java and the Quarkus framework;
Conduct analysis, elicitation and understanding of business requirements;
Translate business needs into efficient technical solutions;
Ensure code quality by applying development best practices;
Participate in code reviews and support the team's technical evolution;
Investigate and resolve issues in a structured, proactive manner;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned and consistent deliveries;
Manage multiple tasks and stay organized to maintain visibility of priorities;

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with Java;
Practical knowledge of Quarkus or similar frameworks;
Experience with relational databases (data modeling, SQL queries, query optimization);
Analytical ability to identify and resolve problems;
Genuine interest in understanding the business beyond the technical side;
Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture;
Familiarity with source control (Git);
Good understanding of system architecture concepts and integrations;
Knowledge of agile methodologies;
Nice-to-have / Differentials:
Experience in the retail sector;
Experience with automated testing practices;
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines;
Experience working in agile environments;
Experience with messaging systems and system integrations.
