About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Solid experience in software development and software engineering practices.
- Advanced experience building, maintaining and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using YAML.
- Hands-on experience with Git and strategies for versioning, branching and release management.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing and automating unit, integration, regression tests and quality validations in CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub, including Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions and repository management.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability analysis, secret management and security controls in pipelines.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Serve as a technical reference and mentor for development, architecture, security and operations teams, promoting DevOps best practices.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, performance and capacity of production environments.
- Collaborate on defining cloud platform architecture and strategies for scalability, resilience and disaster recovery.
- Evaluate, select and implement new tools and technologies related to the DevOps ecosystem.
- Integrate security controls (DevSecOps) into pipelines, including vulnerability analysis, secret management and compliance validations.
- Design, develop and evolve highly scalable, resilient and secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Define and implement automation strategies for build, testing, validations and deploy across multiple environments.
- Architect, implement and manage container-based platforms and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift/EKS/AKS/GKE).
- Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) for critical incidents and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- **Differentials:**
- Certifications in Azure, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), Terraform or DevOps.
- Experience with integrations and automations using REST APIs, GraphQL and Webhooks.
- Experience with multiple cloud providers (Azure, AWS and/or GCP).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, Pulumi or similar tools.
- Experience with observability, monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, Splunk or similar solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with high availability strategies, disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Knowledge of Platform Engineering and building internal platforms for engineering teams.
- Experience defining and tracking delivery and reliability metrics such as DORA Metrics, SLIs, SLOs and SLAs.
