About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for managing the supply chain for the category in which they will operate;
Responsible for the gross margin of negotiations (conducted by their team);
Responsible for on-time delivery of orders;
Seek national and import opportunities and propose creative solutions;
Monitor the economic environment and map short-, medium- and long-term impacts;
Organize raw material trade fairs/events for the segment they will be responsible for;
Source/prospect suppliers for the category they will manage;
Ensure strong relationships with suppliers and other departments;
Understand the competitive market;
Develop sourcing for trims and accessories within the category.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree;
Experience in the Textile segment, working in purchasing, commercial, or sourcing in retail;
Textile experience – woven fabrics (tecido plano);
Advanced English;
Knowledge of supply chain;
Experience in people management, including managing other managers;
Availability to travel.
