About the role

  • Define the strategic planning for the indirect categories under your responsibility to meet client needs regarding cost/benefit, quality, and delivery time through negotiations and analysis, selecting the most appropriate supplier to place purchase orders;
  • Develop new suppliers that offer alternative technologies, equipment, and products, driving innovation and sustainability for the business;
  • Plan and lead strategic meetings with suppliers and internal client teams, providing guidance to align ideas and concepts;
  • Monitor the delivery of products and services, conducting ongoing follow-ups with suppliers and ensuring that products and/or services are delivered within the agreed deadlines to all C&A stores;
  • Anticipate market changes by seeking innovations and best practices to ensure continuous and sustainable cost reductions for products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Purchasing/Procurement environment for Materials and Services with national coverage;
  • Experience in at least one of the following supply categories: engineering, services, or technology;
  • Clear communication of the status of internal and external client requests, keeping stakeholders updated through follow-ups;
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes for Engineering and Tech areas;
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Preferred: experience with SAP ERP, especially the MM (Materials Management) - Purchasing module;
  • Courses/trainings focused on Purchasing will be considered a plus;
  • Knowledge of electronic auction tools (e.g., e-auctions) is a differential.
