About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinates aspects of a product or service offering project for a client, from inception to installation
Involved in interaction with sales, consultants, and other members of cross-functional teams
Oversees schedules and budgets to ensure project success
Executes and delivers projects that span technical practices according to strict deadlines and within budget
Ensures all items defined in CDW Statement of Work are delivered
Communicates high level schedule to the project team
Aids in identifying proper resources and optimizing billable schedules, monitoring, and adjusting assignments as necessary
Documents, tracks, and communicates project issues, aids in bringing to resolution
Documents lessons learned and shares appropriately with colleagues
Manages equipment, software, licensing and outside services procurement and delivery schedules
Accountable to CDW management for project results
Identifies and escalates difficult situations with client and/or project team and escalates to account team and management
Coordinates team efforts to consistently meet project success factors and exceed client expectations
Leads and facilitates both live and virtual meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business or computer related field
3 years of experience in Project Management
2 years of experience in leading small to medium scale projects in a professional services organization
4 years total Information Technology experience, to include 3 years of experience in Project Management
Working knowledge of one or more formal project management methodologies including at least one that is iterative (non-waterfall)
Understands the core level technologies
One to three years’ experience in delivery of Infrastructure Project Management, a plus
Working knowledge of the cost, timeline, and resources necessary in deploying technology solutions, a plus
A professional, customer-focused attitude and courteous manner towards clients, partners and peers is a must, a plus
Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs, a plus
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills including demonstrated experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective, a plus
Applies discretion when dealing with sensitive/confidential information, a plus
Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, a plus
Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, a plus
Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize, a plus
Ability to apply common sense in performing job, a plus
Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, a plus.
