Senior Events and Sponsorships Manager
CDWSenior Events and Sponsorships Manager for CDW leading event strategies and delivery aligned to business goals. Fostering relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure impactful sponsorships and events.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the strategy, planning and delivery of CDW’s events and sponsorships programme
- Define and lead CDW’s events and sponsorships strategy, aligned to business and commercial priorities
- Own a portfolio of CDW‑hosted events and third‑party sponsorships (e.g. conferences, trade shows, partner and external sponsorships)
- Work closely with sales, partner management, solutions and leadership to agree objectives, audiences and success measures
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of events from planning and stakeholder alignment through to execution and follow‑up
- Identify, evaluate and manage sponsorship opportunities, ensuring they are on‑brand and deliver measurable impact
- Ensure sponsorship activations are engaging, differentiated and commercially effective
- Measure and report on ROI, engagement and performance, using insights to continuously improve future activity
- Manage budgets, timelines, agencies and external suppliers to deliver high‑quality outcomes
- Act as the key point of contact for senior leadership on major events and sponsorships
- Lead, guide and develop junior team members and agency partners where applicable
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant experience (typically 7+ years) in events, sponsorships or B2B marketing, ideally within technology or IT services
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-profile events or sponsorship programmes
- Strong commercial mindset able to connect events and sponsorships to business outcomes
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing across functions
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience managing budgets, agencies and external suppliers
- Creative thinker with a strong understanding of brand, storytelling and customer experience
- Comfortable using data and insight to evaluate success and optimise future programmes
- Willingness to travel (up to ~25%) as required
