About the role
- Create and maintain application packages using tools such as AdminStudio, InstallShield, and PowerShell.
- Repackage legacy applications for modern deployment platforms (e.g. Intune, MSIX).
- Deploy applications using SCCM and Intune, ensuring correct targeting (user/device-based) and compliance with licensing models.
- Maintain and update deployment collections, boundary groups, and distribution points.
- Troubleshoot deployment failures and remediate issues across pre-production and production environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation for packaging and deployment processes.
- Support change management processes and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Work closely with application owners, service desk, and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and validate deployments.
Requirements
- UK SC (Security Cleared) is Mandatory
- L3 SCCM skills
- L3 PowerShell Scripting skills
- Proven experience in application packaging (MSI, MSIX, App-V)
- Strong knowledge of SCCM (Current Branch)
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch)
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows 10/11 environments
- Experience with Intune, Autopilot, and Conditional Access is a plus
- Experience with enterprise environments (e.g. EDF Energy, utilities sector) is advantageous
