About the role
- Manage EHS projects for our clients, providing exceptional client service while maintaining project schedules and budgets
- Develop health and safety programs for clients
- Prepare reports for our clients to follow guidance and regulations designed by EPA, DTSC, local CUPAs, Fire departments, Water boards, and other federal, state, and local government agencies
- Assist with permitting requirements and documentation (air quality, wastewater, Tiered Permitting, storm water, etc.)
- Conduct training for employees of client companies
- Conduct monitoring (air monitoring, soil sampling, etc.)
- Conduct compliance audits
- Provide ongoing compliance support to clients
- Provide various other support activities to clients to assist with their compliance efforts
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or related industry
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (Master's degree a plus)
- Strong knowledge of California EH&S regulations including CalOSHA, air quality, hazardous materials/waste, stormwater and wastewater, and health & safety compliance with expertise in at least one field
- Strong experience in environmental consulting with a focus on air permitting
- Professional certifications (PE, CPP, PG, CHMM, etc.) highly valued
- Strategic thinking abilities with a talent for anticipating client needs and regulatory trends
- Excellent project management skills with ability to balance multiple priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to clients
- Comfortable conducting trainings for groups of 10-40 people
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and environmental compliance software
- Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and collaboratively
