About the role

  • Manage EHS projects for our clients, providing exceptional client service while maintaining project schedules and budgets
  • Develop health and safety programs for clients
  • Prepare reports for our clients to follow guidance and regulations designed by EPA, DTSC, local CUPAs, Fire departments, Water boards, and other federal, state, and local government agencies
  • Assist with permitting requirements and documentation (air quality, wastewater, Tiered Permitting, storm water, etc.)
  • Conduct training for employees of client companies
  • Conduct monitoring (air monitoring, soil sampling, etc.)
  • Conduct compliance audits
  • Provide ongoing compliance support to clients
  • Provide various other support activities to clients to assist with their compliance efforts

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or related industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (Master's degree a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of California EH&S regulations including CalOSHA, air quality, hazardous materials/waste, stormwater and wastewater, and health & safety compliance with expertise in at least one field
  • Strong experience in environmental consulting with a focus on air permitting
  • Professional certifications (PE, CPP, PG, CHMM, etc.) highly valued
  • Strategic thinking abilities with a talent for anticipating client needs and regulatory trends
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to clients
  • Comfortable conducting trainings for groups of 10-40 people
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and environmental compliance software
  • Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and collaboratively
