About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute strategic account plans that support customer growth, retention, and long-term partnership development
- Deliver annual sales, volume, and margin objectives across assigned accounts and territories
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities across the Material Protection portfolio
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract renewals to maximize customer value and profitability
- Identify emerging market opportunities and provide customer and market insights to support portfolio and growth strategies
- Partner with Technical Service, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Product Management teams to deliver outstanding customer support and project execution
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers and establish strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Maintain accurate forecasting, CRM data, and commercial reporting to support business planning and decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business, Chemistry, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
- MBA or advanced business qualification added advantage
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, key account management, marketing, or commercial leadership roles
- Proven success managing strategic accounts and delivering sustainable revenue and margin growth
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements and leading complex customer relationships
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with excellent consultative selling and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within chemicals, industrial manufacturing, coatings, wood protection, preservation technologies, or related industries
- Knowledge of value-based selling methodologies
- Experience supporting new product launches and portfolio expansion initiatives
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics, and pipeline management tools
