About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create business relationships in competitive accounts selling CDK’s DRIVE bundled solution
- Grow new market share through conquest sales, selling to Franchise Dealers with 2 sites or less
- Work in conjunction with all channel partners to increase sales opportunities
- Achieve annual assigned sales plan, working under guidance of Sales Leadership
- Uncover dealer prospect needs and challenge client to maximize their business results
- Consistent sales calls 80% face to face with dealerships, 80% travel required, overnight travel depending on territory
- Daily communication with channels and management
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of experience in B2B technology or solution sales preferred
- Automotive industry experience
- Ability to travel 80% of the time, Monday - Friday
- Ability to overcome objections easily
- Experience using consultative solution selling to align client’s business needs with a solution
- Experience in negotiating and closing sales opportunities
- Experience with developing and managing a sales territory
- Self-driven, persistent, ambitious, and highly motivated
- Excellent communication, listening and questioning skills
- Microsoft Office & CRM PC Skills
