About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create business relationships in competitive accounts selling CDK’s DRIVE bundled solution
  • Grow new market share through conquest sales, selling to Franchise Dealers with 2 sites or less
  • Work in conjunction with all channel partners to increase sales opportunities
  • Achieve annual assigned sales plan, working under guidance of Sales Leadership
  • Uncover dealer prospect needs and challenge client to maximize their business results
  • Consistent sales calls 80% face to face with dealerships, 80% travel required, overnight travel depending on territory
  • Daily communication with channels and management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B technology or solution sales preferred
  • Automotive industry experience
  • Ability to travel 80% of the time, Monday - Friday
  • Ability to overcome objections easily
  • Experience using consultative solution selling to align client’s business needs with a solution
  • Experience in negotiating and closing sales opportunities
  • Experience with developing and managing a sales territory
  • Self-driven, persistent, ambitious, and highly motivated
  • Excellent communication, listening and questioning skills
  • Microsoft Office & CRM PC Skills
