About the role
- Lead a sales team to achieve budgeted sales quota
- Supervise a team of 5+ Account Development Executives
- Monitor performance and achieve financial goals
- Develop, motivate, and counsel staff
- Foster a collaborative environment and provide feedback on market conditions
- Plan sales strategy per quarter to achieve fiscal year goals
- Accountable for working with current and competitive accounts
- Hire and build a successful sales team
- Direct/manage staff performance
- Handle customer issues and satisfaction to increase client retention
Requirements
- 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 6-8 years of related experience in leading a quota-exceeding outside b2b sales hunters
- Demonstrated track record of success in a solutions selling environment
- 7-9 months of job related formal Sales training
- 1-3 years of outside B2B sales/including new business development
- Experience in automotive industry required
