About the role
- Lead a sales team to achieving the budgeted sales quota for the year
- Directly supervise a team of 5+ Account Development Executives
- Monitor performance, achieve financial goals, develop, motivate and counsel staff
- Foster a collaborative environment, provide feedback information about market conditions and plan sales strategy per quarter
- Work with current and competitive accounts, hiring and building a successful sales team
- Direct/manage staff performance
- Handle customer issues and satisfaction
- Assist in driving efforts to increase client retention
Requirements
- 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 6-8 years of related experience in leading a quota-exceeding outside b2b sales hunters
- Selling complex systems (DMS, SaaS etc)
- Demonstrated track record of success in a solutions selling environment
- 7-9 months of job related formal Sales training
- 1-3 years of outside B2B sales/including new business development
- Experience in automotive industry, preferred, not required
