About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain a library of sales-ready content assets, including talking points, objection-handling guides, service and sector sales pages, viewbooks, pitch decks, go-to-market resources, activation guides, prospect packages, and customized outreach materials
  • Identify content gaps and prioritize production with Growth COE colleagues and regional teams
  • Translate CCS capabilities, sector expertise, and data insights into compelling narratives for prospect audiences
  • Write and refine sector analysis and competitive positioning materials
  • Produce and update service-line and sector-specific sales collateral
  • Own multiple concurrent content projects from brief through final delivery
  • Partner with the Corporate Graphic Designer on polished, on-brand final assets
  • Manage routing, review cycles, and stakeholder approvals
  • Maintain organized content repositories and version control
  • Write and edit external articles, case studies, and thought leadership
  • Contribute to flagship publications such as Philanthropic Landscape and Philanthropy Pulse Report
  • Ensure written materials reflect the CCS brand voice and editorial standards
  • Build relationships across regional teams and internal Centers of Excellence
  • Conduct interviews and briefings with subject matter experts and incorporate stakeholder feedback
  • Coordinate event-related content with the Strategic Events team, including program copy, speaker materials, and post-event follow-up assets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional writing experience in content marketing, strategic communications, professional services, or a related field
  • Experience producing sales or business development materials strongly preferred
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills across varied formats and tones
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Collaborative, service-oriented approach to internal stakeholder work
  • Ability to receive and incorporate feedback professionally
  • Experience working within or alongside sales, business development, or growth functions is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with the nonprofit sector, fundraising, or philanthropy is a plus but not required
  • Bias toward action and high standard for quality
  • Genuine interest in seeing content work enable business outcomes
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship
  • CCS is unable to sponsor work visas, including H-1B
