About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Write and monitor individual treatment plans for children diagnosed with behavioral and mental health disorders. These disorders include, but are not limited to: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD).
  • Provide assistance in the development of adaptive skills in order for the diagnosed child to take a more positive role in the school, home & community setting.
  • Provide prescribed behavioral consultation to the family and / or school.
  • Train Support Staff on appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Write Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • **QUALIFICIATIONS:***
  • BCBA with PA Behavior Specialist License (OR)
  • Master’s Degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or a related program AND PA License in one of the following: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Social Worker, Behavior Specialist, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner:
  • AND At least 12 credits in ABA from a college/university and 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA
  • OR At least 1 year of full-time experience in the provision of ABA under the supervision of a BCBA or similar certification and 40 hours of training in ABA.
  • **CREDENTIALS:**
  • (Clearances current within 12 months)
  • BCBA OR PA Licensed Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Social Worker, Behavior Specialist, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • FBI - Department of Human Service clearance - Service code: 1KG738
  • FBI - Department of Education clearance - Service code: 1KG6XN
  • TB screening - current within 3 months
  • Professional Liability Insurance
