About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain financial and operational reports using reporting tools (e.g., Actuate eReport Designer, Crystal Reports, JasperReports).
Build and enhance report templates, dashboards, and data visualizations based on business requirements.
Work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather and clarify reporting requirements.
Develop SQL queries and data extraction logic to support reporting needs.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing reports and reporting systems.
Perform testing, validation, and performance tuning of reports to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with banking and financial reporting standards.
Collaborate with local and offshore teams across different project phases.
Document report specifications, logic, and development processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
2–4 years of experience in report development or similar role
Strong experience with reporting tools such as Actuate (preferred), Crystal Reports, Jasper Reports, or equivalent
Solid knowledge of SQL (mandatory)
Experience in financial services, banking systems, or FinTech is a strong advantage
Basic programming knowledge (Java or similar) is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
