About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design scalable, secure data architectures: Data Lake, Data Warehouse
  • Produce cost estimates and objectively compare different technologies and architectures
  • Contribute to technology selection based on business requirements and technical constraints
  • Build and industrialize batch and real-time data pipelines
  • Implement CI/CD practices, observability, governance, and data quality
  • Optimize performance and cost in cloud environments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience of over 7 years in data engineering
  • Master's degree (Bac+5) or engineering degree in a data-related field
  • Expertise with modern data platforms, preferably Databricks or Microsoft Fabric
  • Proficiency with a public cloud (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Strong SQL and Python skills
  • Solid knowledge of modern data architecture
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly for leading various workshops (design sessions, agile workshops, retrospectives, and scoping sessions)
