About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Viya
- Work on data preparation, transformation, and integration to ensure high data quality and consistency
- Develop and optimize SAS programs and queries for performance and scalability
- Contribute to the migration or implementation of SAS Viya platforms
- Design and maintain data models and reporting layers for BI use cases
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance within SAS environments
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and improve system performance
- Stay up to date with SAS ecosystem evolutions and BI best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- A degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in BI/Data Engineering or a similar role
- Strong experience with SAS Enterprise Guide
- Experience or strong interest in SAS Viya platform (migration or implementation is a plus)
- Solid understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience in data analysis and reporting within a BI context
- Programming mindset; knowledge of Python or other languages is a plus
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality practices
- Fluency in Dutch and/or French and English
