About the role

  • Provide fractional CFO/Controller advisory and accounting support to small and mid‑market clients in collaboration with the OAAS team.
  • Help business owners build, mature, and manage their accounting and finance functions; identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Deliver accounting, financial, and business insights using advanced analytics and visualization tools.
  • Develop and maintain budgeting models, 12‑month rolling cash flow forecasts, and 3–5 year strategic financial scenarios.
  • Evaluate a company’s existing accounting and perform the resulting accounting clean up work.
  • Assess accounting processes for streamlining and automation; document current/future state and drive adoption.
  • Perform KPI development and monitoring tied to financial health, profitability/value creation, and growth.
  • Conduct interviews with client personnel to diagnose process issues and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise, must have and preserve required licenses
  • Must possess analytical skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
