About the role

  • Work with internal business stakeholders to generate reports and dashboards grounded on well-defined conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Collaborate with the Business stakeholders and development team to create mapping requirements, technical specifications.
  • Write and optimize SQL code to prepare, join, and validate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and performance in reporting models.
  • Apply a strong understanding of modern data architectures and design scalable dimensional and semantic models.
  • Leverage Power BI and Alteryx to design dashboards and automate data workflows.
  • Conduct quantitative and/or qualitative research of information affecting financial and/or business processes and translate findings into domain-specific data models.
  • Prepare and deliver descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytical insights.
  • Define KPIs/targets and monitor actions coming out of operational reviews to ensure continuous improvement in initiatives designed to drive firm profitability.
  • Apply data visualization, descriptive, and summary statistical techniques for discovery and timely insights through Power BI and other platforms.
  • Leverage internal and external data sources to gather relevant benchmarks for the CPA firm industry.

Requirements

  • College Degree or equivalent required
  • 1 year related experience
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and guidelines
  • Ability to document daily activities and system functions
  • Able to work in team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization both internally and externally
  • Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
