About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team providing personal, compliance, and business tax planning services to partnerships, owners, families, family businesses, and high-net-worth individuals
- Specialize in pass-through entity (partnership and S corporation) taxation, with a focus on complex 1040 compliance and planning
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering exceptional client service and high-quality execution of engagements
- Coach, mentor, and train managers and staff, fostering professional development and a collaborative team environment
- Contribute to business development by leveraging your professional network, identifying and winning new opportunities, and expanding services to existing clients
- Collaborate across service lines and offices, embracing the firm’s “one firm” mentality and commitment to colleagues’ success
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active CPA license required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required
- Significant expertise in pass-through entity taxation (partnerships and S corporations) and complex individual (1040) tax compliance
- Experience with complex federal (C and S), multi-state, individual, and partnership compliance and planning
- Strong leadership and staff development skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaborating with partners and guiding clients
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
