About the role
- Provide strategic leadership to teams and oversee a department within the Collections function
- Develop and execute collection strategies that align with organizational goals and financial targets
- Use data-driven insights to forecast trends, identify risks, and recommend strategic improvements
- Lead change initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, and overall performance
- Establish and monitor KPIs, service levels, and productivity standards for the department
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Partner with Finance, Billing, Legal, Client Service, and other departments to resolve complex issues
- Conduct performance evaluations, identify skill gaps, and implement training or development plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management or related field
- 8+ years of Progressive experience in collections, credit management, accounts receivable, or a related financial operations discipline
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of collections processes, regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices
